The Three Grumpy Simmers make their long awaited return to the airwaves with a topic that is very much suited to 2020 and the world we all find ourselves in.
In this episode we discuss some of the more uncomfortable topics, how to recognize burn out in ourselves and our friends. We talk about how it happens to all of us, and what we can each do.
Spending a little time reflecting on the journey we have had with flight simulation, we appreciate the journey we are on, and ask a question we have asked before for us all to think about, why do we sim?
Remember folks, that it is easy to just type words, we never know what is happening on the other side of the screen. Be supportive of each other. Try and remember that we are here to enjoy ourselves, to escape from the daily world. Lets support and encourage everyone in their own unique way of celebrating and reaching that. Be good humans.

The Three Grumpy Simmers have been roused from their slumber by Microsoft's announcement this week of a confirmed release date for their reentry into the flight simulation world on August 18 2020.
We dissect the information provided by Microsoft as part of the announcement and give our thoughts and impressions. Listen to us prattle on about our excitement, and our concerns following the announcement. We also relieve some moments of simulation history and ask what lessons might be learned from them.
Thanks to you the simming community, we also get an insight into what you are feeling towards this upcoming title.

The Three Grumpy Simmers are back once again to give their take on the seeming never satisfied quest for Realism and Immersion. With the recent release of Prepar3D v5, as well as the upcoming new sim from Microsoft, questions about this topic have once again bubbled to the for in major ways.
Each of us muse on the meaning behind each of these words, and discuss how to balance these quests with the realities of our world. They also go through some of the challenges faced in this never ending quest, and pose the question of have we gone to far?
